2021 Re-Con Hideaway Stockholders Meeting July 3, 2021 9:00am President: Melissa Burroughs, 2022 Vice-President: Charles Nimitz, 2021 Secretary/Treasurer: Jeff Bell,
2021 President Burroughs called the meeting to order. A quorum was declared present. Jeff Bell opened the meeting in prayer.
The following new lot owners were introduced: Mike & Kim Davis (Lot 38), Robert Gibson & Angela Adebahr (Lot 23). Necrology - Mary Ann Cook passed away on November 2, 2020. Her daughter, Susan (Cook) Bell and others paid tribute. A brief overview of Re-Con was provided by others present. Cindy Chambers moved (seconded) that the agenda be approved. APPROVED.
Reports 1. President Burroughs - thanks and appreciation for: • Harold Rouse - ongoing road maintenance. • Bo Spitler - putting out the swim buoys and ropes for the season • Jeff Dunson - maintaining and painting the swim dock • Mike and Cindy Chambers - loaning Re-Con a rented backhoe last year to clean up debris that had washed into the swim area. • Bear Chinell - refreshing the Re-Con signs at the entrance to the property. 2. Treasurers Report was presented and APPROVED without exception. 3. Committee Reports
Old Business 1. Mike and Cindy Chambers gave an overview of their efforts to establish a private Re-Con Facebook page.
New Business 1. 2022 Dues - Britt Wester moved (seconded) that the 2022 Annual Dues be set at $100.00 per lot. APPROVED. 2. By unanimous consent, July 2, 2022 at 9:00am was established as the next ReCon Annual Meeting. APPROVED. 3. Cindy Chambers nominated (seconded) Rita Tacey as Vice-President - Class of 2023. APPROVED. 4. By unanimous consent, Jeff Bell was elected as Secretary-Treasurer - Class of 2023.
Other Business 1. Guy Flibotte notified those present to check the actual “911 address” associated with their home should there be a need to call rescue. 2. MOTION by Guy Flibotte (seconded) to have Re-Con make a $200.00 donation to the Bullock Fire & Rescue Department. APPROVED. 3. MOTION by Susan Bell (seconded) to remove old beach chairs stored at or near the Pavillion. Guy Flibotte suggested that the aluminum chairs be donated to the local SPCA for recycling. APPROVED. 4. Cindy Chambers agreed to become the Social Coordinator for Re-Con. 5. Bo Spitler notified those present that the Pavillion would be used for a Sweet 16 gathering Sunday, July 4, 2021.
Motion to Adjourn - Rita Tacey moved that the meeting be adjourned (seconded). APPROVED.
