Meeting was called to order by M.Boroughs at 9:00 am.Those attending from the board were M.Boroughs and M.Evans.Others attending were P.Decker, P.Wilkinson, R.Spitler,
J.Applegate, Jeff and Susan Bell, and Guy Fillibotte.
Minutes from August meeting and Treasurers report were
submitted.
R.Spitler reported paperwork and check to Corps of Engineers
for lease near Olsens had been lost in mail, and Corps would reissue.
J.Applegate gave brief review of 50th celebration
scheduled for 4th of July.
Breakfast to be on beach with
B.Spitler and K.Spitler coordinating. Pauline D.and Susan B. to also help.A contentinental breakfast of fruit, buns,
coffee and juice to be available.J.Bell
to supply some of the utensils.Paper
plates and napkins to be purchased.
Pictures are still needed for slide
show of old plus family photos (35 pics per family).Deadline is mid June and should be forwarded
to Clair Nimitz.Clairand Matt will produce slide show.Jeff Bell to obtain large movie screen.
A corn hole tournament and tug of
war are planned.
This years golf cart parade will
have an open theme instead of the customary 4th of July theme.
The Rip-Rap project is finished and all thank J.Dunson for
spearheading the successful project.Also all that contributed money to the project are to be commended for
preserving the area for all to enjoy for many years to come.
Beach courtesies are to be observed with regard to parking
of golf carts and presence of pets.Also
due to poor condition of existing beach chairs it is recommended that each
person bring their own chairs.
