Elections for Officers Sec/Treas - Jan Olsen by unanimous vote Vice Pres - Charlie Nimitz unanimous vote President - Contested between J.Dunson and M.Burroughs
Main point of disagreement was how votes were to be determined. Should each land owner have only one vote or should each share of stock be counted as a vote. Majority of those attending interpreted present By-Law language as one vote for each share of stock. After that determination the vote was taken with the following results; M. Burroughs 17 J.Dunson 3 Abstentions 3 Therefore M. Burroughs is our new President.
At this point Jeff left meeting and Charlie Nimitz took over the meeting.
By-Laws need to be revised. M.Burroughs to coordinate process for revisions.
Jay Walker suggested that to avoid problems that arose in voting this year that a nominating committee be formed to conduct future voting.
It was agreed that as President Jeff had accomplished many positive projects, perhaps the most notable was the beach rip-rap.
