Motorboat Operators License: As of July 1, license required for all 50 years old and younger; 2016 required for all ages; PWC all ages now.
Uranium mining (no go at present); coal ash cleanup(no effect on the lake); fish consumption(PCB’s and mercury, state recommends less consumption); water pipeline (no present plans).

Corps of Engineers shoreline regs & unique RECON allowances:
beach stuff left overnight- “abandonment”; community chairs?
motorized access and use: Corps Shoreline Management Plan: Section 20, Clause e-7: The term “walkways” includes the beach path/road and entire beach area under permit to RECON- “Walkways cannot be used for vehicular traffic including…”
No pickups, cars, ATV’s or parked trailers for any reason; Golf carts-UTV-ATV steering components;
violations procedures & history;
swim dock, swim area lines, gravel walkway, mowing allowed;
4th of July Cornhole: kids, golf cart parade 6:30, dinner 7 pm, photos
RECON’s Corps 5 year permit for swim dock, path, beach appvd/pd
25 year lease from Corps paid for Grassy Creek Lane “Triangle” property paid for and renewed. Thanks to treasurer.
Roads: $1,500 in maintenance funds for year; 2 loads gravel Long St.(may be needed)
Beach use and courtesies: carts, pets (also on RECON roads), trailers
Firearms use at RECON: target shooting, hunting, critter control (common sense and safety above all)
Rip-Rap accounting of funds:
Amount collected: $9,400; disbursed: $9,435; bank account closed. New grass: aerated, re-seeded; 2-year project; All financial records are available for inspection
RECON proposed budget July 1, 2015-July 1, 2016 (attached)
Committee review of ByLaws/ updates and clarifications: two-year process begins with written suggestions; report back to stockholders by mail; July 5 2016 present, discuss, vote on proposals/ July 2017
